I am a UK citizen concerned about climate change and confused as to what I can do to help reduce the impact. I seek to educate myself on the subject and implement actions that can help make a difference. Cambridge is an excellent place for this as the University arranges many public lectures given by experts researchers in this field.
My blog is intended to share what I have learned, encourage awareness in others and to welcome comments that can contribute towards building a fairer world. One tonne world signifies the amount of carbon that each person in the world can emit each year as their fair share which will hopefully keep the accumulation of carbon in the atmosphere at 'safe' levels. The average emission of each UK person is currently around 10-12 tonnes
